ORBCOMM Inc., the Rochelle Park-based maker of Machine-to-Machine and Internet of Things solutions for logistics companies, has been chosen by a North Carolina truckload carrier to provide its in-cab solution for a fleet of trucks.
Queen Transportation LLC, based in Hickory, North Carolina, will utilize ORBCOMM’s technology across its entire trucking fleet, according to a news release, intent on increasing operational efficiency.
“Queen Transportation is dedicated to providing its customers with the highest-quality service, and we’re pleased to provide a powerful fleet management solution to help them unlock incremental efficiencies and performance levels,” ORBCOMM CEO Marc Eisenberg said in a prepared statement.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
