Century 21 Real Estate, the Madison-based subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp., announced Wednesday it has named Mark Westphale as its new chief growth officer.
Westphale will be responsible for driving growth in emerging and diverse markets as well as through franchise sales. He will also work across the company’s key organizational areas, including recruiting, operations and marketing.
He will report directly to CEO and president Michael Miedler.
“Mark has done a great job driving success across Realogy and we are thrilled to welcome him back to the Century 21 family,” Miedler said. “We knew he was the perfect fit for this role not only for his tremendous industry knowledge and expertise but also for his rich history with the brand and relentless drive to deliver the extraordinary in everything he does – a true embodiment of the Century 21 mission. From guiding owners and managers to recruit the best and brightest in the industry to identifying new ways to deliver on the company’s business goals, we know that our system will thrive under his leadership.”
Westphale, who has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, previously served as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, held various roles across franchise and field service, and most recently served as senior vice president at Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.
“I’m excited to take on this new role as chief growth officer and join a brand that is poised to make big changes in our industry,” Westphale said. “Mike Miedler and his leadership team have truly driven the CENTURY 21 brand to be the most respected name in real estate. I look forward to bringing my own background and expertise to build on that momentum and work together to drive even higher levels of growth and excitement among our System members.”
