Healthgrades released its 2020 Annual Report to the Nation on Tuesday and in it recognized the top hospitals in the nation that deliver superior patient outcomes within 16 service lines.
The report found each hospital by analyzing approximately 45 million Medicare inpatient records and other data to find their quality and safety metrics in 32 common inpatient conditions and procedures.
“The hospitals that stand out for exceptional performance in these specialty care procedures should be commended for their long-standing commitment to quality,” Brad Bowman, chief medical officer, Healthgrades, said. “As consumers are increasingly savvy when it comes to finding and selecting a hospital, patients can be confident when they select a hospital that has achieved this Healthgrades recognition.”
