Liberty Hall Museum names executive director

Liberty Hall Museum Inc., an organization dedicated to preserving and protecting New Jersey’s first governor’s house in Union, announced Thursday it has named Rachael Goldberg as executive director.

Goldberg, who’s a long-term Liberty Hall Museum employee, will now be tasked with providing direction as the Museum strengthens its school program and looks for ways to encourage repeated visitors.

“We are particularly fortunate to be able to promote someone within our organization who has such exceptional qualifications,” John Kean, president of the Museum, said.

Goldberg graduated with a degree in history from the University of Rhode Island. She also has a master’s degree in American history from Monmouth and a certificate in historic preservation from Drew University.
