CBRE announced Monday that construction has been completed on a newly-developed industrial facility in Jersey City.
The 95,808-square-foot warehouse property at 79 Thomas McGovern Drive is the first project in New Jersey developed by CT Realty, a real estate investment and development company which specializes in logistics and e-commerce.
Thomas Monahan, Stephen D’Amato, Larry Schiffenhaus, Anastasia Lazarides, Lauren Hageman and Gerard Monahan of CBRE headed the leasing campaign for the property on behalf of CT Realty.
“It is very rare to have a brand new warehouse facility located in a last mile distribution area with the type of quality space offered at 79 Thomas McGovern Drive,” Monahan said. “The property is ideally located with immediate access to New York City via the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels and within minutes of the Newark and Elizabeth ports, as well as Newark Liberty International Airport.”
The building sits on about 5 acres and offers 36-foot ceilings, eight dock doors, 87 car parking spaces, ESFR sprinkler systems, LED motion sensors and 2,000 square feet of office space.
“We are excited to unveil this state-of-the-art facility, which is located in one of the hottest industrial markets in the Tristate region, to the real estate community,” Rob Huthnance, executive vice president, CT Realty, said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
