Two N.J. accounting firms merge, form DIGIT

Cherry Hill-based Digital Accounting Institute and Mount Laurel-based Visions in Innovative Accounting announced Tuesday they have merged and launched DIGIT, a digital accounting and financial education firm.

DIGIT will provide digital accounting, payroll system consulting and training services for small businesses and nonprofits. It helps manage real-time financial data through improved system structures and timesaving business operations, the two companies said. Clients will also have access to comprehensive training and educational programs.

“The ability to get financial information quickly and accurately is an issue facing small to medium sized companies. Understanding and analyzing this financial data to drive business decisions that increase operational efficiency and create greater value is key,” Daniel J. Ruotolo, founder and CEO, said. ”In the same way the assembly line did for the Industrial Revolution, DIGIT is designed to significantly improve a company’s operating efficiency and offer value to customers by providing the accurate data analysis to manage and grow its business.”
