There are two new tenants at the Twin City Shopping Center in Jersey City, according to Levin Management Corp.
Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood and Bar and Apple Nail Salon have committed to 8,350 square feet and 1,650 square feet, respectively.
LMC is the exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 95,000-square-foot shopping center located at the intersection of Garfield Avenue/Broadway and 53rd Street.
E.J. Moawad, a leasing representative at LMC, arranged both deals.
Hook & Reel, an authentic New Orleans dining experience, opened its first New Jersey-based restaurant earlier this year in West Orange and has plans to expand to several more areas in the state. Igal Nassim of Mason Asset Management served as tenant broker for Hook & Reel in the Twin City lease.
“Hook & Reel is a great fit for this property,” Moawad said. “We have worked hard to enhance and diversify the tenant mix and dining options here, and this concept will serve as another anchor for the center’s restaurant component. Hook & Reel will be a significant traffic generator and contribute to Twin City’s overall appeal and ‘destination’ atmosphere.” The property’s dining options also include Taco Bell, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Wendy’s and Dunkin’.
Apple Nail Salon, LMC said, will offer variety of nail care services.
“Service-oriented tenants optimize the retail mix at any shopping center,” Moawad said. “Apple Nail Salon represents another outstanding option for the local community.”
Only one 1,950-square-foot retail availability remains at the center, LMC said.
