Schlesinger Group, an international data collection and research services company based in Iselin, announced Friday it has acquired Focus Pointe Global, a qualitative data collection provider based in Philadelphia.
The acquisition, Schlesinger said, will create a comprehensive data collection and research services provider in key U.S. markets.
“We are excited to welcome FPG to the Schlesinger Family. The value of this move is reflected in the collective heritage and strength of our companies, unlocking substantial value for our clients. FPG’s talented team, strong operational capabilities, and high-quality deliverables augment our research solutions. And this investment underscores our continued commitment to deliver outstanding qualitative solutions for our clients,” Steve Schlesinger, CEO, Schlesinger Group, said.
For Schlesinger clients, the deal opens up new markets in Kansas City, Columbus and Minneapolis, and for Focus Point clients, additional markets include Houston, Baltimore and Orlando along with eight cities in Europe. Also, all FPG employees will join Schlesinger.
