Atlantic Health System has opened a facility in Bryam that will bring three much-needed services to area: primary care, rehabilitation and laboratory.
The services will be located within the ShopRite commercial plaza on Route 206 North. Atlantic Health System said it designed the renovations for the space in-house, with Lanesville Group LLC providing construction.
Construction for the facility cost $1.3 million with an additional $340,000 in technology, equipment and furnishing.
“I am pleased to see Atlantic Health System opening a location in Byram,” Byram Township Mayor Alex Rubenstein, who attended the opening ceremony, said. “The ability for residents to have access to primary care, laboratory and rehab services is a great thing to have right in the center of our town. I am glad to see the investment that Atlantic Health has made here.”
The primary care practice currently employs two physicians with space for five as well as six other team members. the rehabilitation services is anticipated to have four or five therapist with two to three adminstrative/support staff. The lab service is staffed by one phlebotomist.
