New Jersey American Water is investing $1.38 million in its Cherry Hill infrastructure, the Camden-based utility announced this week.
The company said it would replace about 560 feet of 6-inch water main and 6,200 feet of 8-inch main this fall, as well as five fire hydrants and 134 service lines.
Pioneer Pipe Contractors is NJAW’s local qualified contractor on the project, which is part of the company’s multimillion-dollar infrastructure renewal initiative.
Final street restorations will be completed in the spring, the unit of Camden-based American Water said.
