NAI Hanson negotiates lease to bring endocrinologist to Maywood

NAI James E. Hanson, a commercial real estate firm based in Teterboro, announced Thursday it has negotiated a lease to bring an endocrinologist to Maywood.

NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented the tenant, Comprehensive Endocrinology P.C. Paramus-based McBride Corporate Real Estate‘s Kevin O’Rourke represented the landlord of 240 West Passaic St., Miraj Realty LLC.

Formerly in Hackensack, Comprehensive Endocrinology’s founder Dr. Ari Geliebter said he was looking for a space for his practice that would be in a central location to both existing and new patients. The 1,830-square-foot property is within close access to Route 17 and less than two miles from Hackensack University Medical Center. It also has ample parking and an elevator.

“With major health systems acquiring many of the smaller practice groups across the state, the number of single practitioners searching for medical office space has decreased precipitously,” Horning said. “As a result, landlords with smaller spaces are sometimes finding it difficult to secure tenants for their spaces. With this in mind, we were able to leverage our deep market knowledge to help Dr. Geliebter secure his new office with highly favorable economic terms and a full buildout, which is a rare occurrence in the medical market.”

Financial terms were not disclosed.
