Cushman & Wakefield announced Tuesday it has been named the exclusive leasing agent for a newly-rebranded office building in Piscataway.
The 200,000-square-foot Plaza 1551, located at 1551 S. Washington Ave., recently underwent new ownership and is gearing up for a capital improvement campaign, C&W said.
C&W’s William O’Keefe, Charles Parmelli and Kelsey Nakamura, based at the firm’s Morristown office, will head the assignment on behalf of 1551 Plaza Partners LLC c/o Norden Realty Investments.
“This well-established, locally-based landlord has set out to make Plaza 1551 the preferred location for office tenants in the Piscataway market,” O’Keefe noted. “Its plans include renovations in common areas and tenant spaces, along with an aggressive marketing effort aimed at filling the building with businesses looking to establish or grow in the region.”
The firm will be marketing a large 100,000-square-foot block at the complex, with units starting at 7,000 square feet, it said.
The four-story property is within close access to Exit 6 of Interstate 287. Amenities include signage with visibility from I-287, an on-site cafeteria, courtyard and on-site property management.
