R.J. Brunelli & Co. completes series of leases, sale of freestanding restaurant

R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC announced on Tuesday it has completed a series of leases as well as the sale of a freestanding restaurant site in New Jersey.

The Old Bridge-based retail real estate brokerage said the activity was highlighted at The Parke at Hamburg, a new 50,150-square-foot center in Wayne. In the latest deals, the firm completed leases with Ulta Beauty (8,500 square feet) and The Paper Store (7,500 square feet) for a total of 16,000 square feet. Both are anticipated to open in the third quarter of 2020. Ron DeLuca, R.J. Brunelli CEO and principal, represented the landlord on the Ulta lease, with David Szabo of BKR Retail Services representing the tenant. Danielle Brunelli, president and pricipal of R.J. Brunelli, represented the landlord on The Paper Store lease.

Along the Jersey Shore, Danielle Brunelli also completed a Dollar Tree lease for 10,450 square feet at Lincoln Square on Route 88 in Brick Township. It is expected to open in the first quarter of 2020 at the 246,235-square-foot center. In Mercer County, she represented European Wax Center on a 1,400-square-foot lease at the Hamilton Marketplace on Route 130 and Klockner Road in Hamilton Township. The chain expects to open in the second quarter of 2020 at the 970,373-square-foot center. And in Middlesex County, she represented Vision Source on its 1,724-square-foot lease at a mixed-use property at 29 Washington Ave. in Carteret. It will open in the first quarter of 2020 at the 12,000-square-foot retail property.

In Monmouth County, John Lenaz, senior sales associate, represented the tenant on a lease for a 2,000-square-foot Code Ninjas learning center at the Howell Plaza at 4014 Route 9 in Howell. It is slated to open this month.

In Union County, the firm completed the sale of a 2,200-square-foot White Castle at 1335 South Ave. in Plainfield. Peter Nicholson, senior sales associate, represented the chain.
