Montclair-based packaged ice products company Arctic Glacier LLC has acquired a pair of Indiana companies to expand its presence in the Midwest, it announced this week.
The deal for Cosner Ice Co. Inc. and Cosner Transportation LLC gives Arctic Glacier a market leader in Indiana, it said in a news release. The deal represents Arctic Glacier’s eight acquisition of the year and 21st in the past three years.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The Cosner family has built a fantastic business based on quality and service,” Arctic Glacier CEO Richard Wyckoff said in a prepared statement. “This, along with their talented management and vision for growth, are why we are so excited to be working together to service this important market.”
Arctic Glacier recently cut the ribbon on its “super plant” in Kansas City, it noted.
“Combined with our investment in Cosner, this further demonstrates our clear commitment to providing the necessary resources to support our customers and accelerate our plans for growth,” Wyckoff said.
