Unique Photo opens photography superstore in Philly

Unique Photo, a New Jersey-based camera retailer and center for photography education, has opened a new superstore in Philadelphia, it said on Thursday.

Unique Photo’s new photography superstore has opened its doors in Philadelphia.

The 9,600-square-foot center opened in the historic Old City District at 28 South St. on Nov. 29. It has four floors of retail, a multimedia learning center, professional photo laboratory and studio space. It is also an Apple authorized service provider and will host workshops at its “Unique University”.

“Old City in Philadelphia is a vibrant, one-of-a-kind location, and we’re excited to bring our new photography superstore to the neighborhood,” Alexander Sweetwood, president of the third-generation, family-owned business, said. “Our goal is to offer access to the latest camera technology, education and services that have made our New Jersey store the ultimate destination for amateur and professional photographers alike.”
