Cushman & Wakefield announced Tuesday it has been named the leasing agent for a new-to-market industrial asset in South Plainfield.
The commercial real estate firm said it will market the 41,000-square-foot former pharmaceutical facility situated on more than 2 acres and located at 301 Helen St. on behalf of Greenblatt FLP. It offers 11,500 square feet of office build-out, 20-foot ceilings and four tailgate doors.
The M3 industrial zoned property is located within close access to Interstate 287, the Garden State Parkway and routes 1 and 9. It will be available for occupancy in January 2020.
“The Upper 287 corridor has become a go-to choice for last-mile industrial – resulting in sustained high demand and a current vacancy rate under 1.5%,” said Charles Fern, industrial specialist, C&W, who will lead the assignment with Shawn Straka. “Because this property will trade vacant, it offers outstanding upside potential.”
