NAI James E. Hanson, a commercial real estate firm based in Teterboro, announced Wednesday it has negotiated the sale of a lot in Rochelle Park.
The buyer of the 0.6-acre lot at 121 Rochelle Ave. was Paramus-based Bergen Landscaping and the seller was Roy F. McGeady. NAI Hanson’s Dominic Fittizzi represented both in the deal.
Bergen Landscaping specializes in landscape design, water features, stonework, outdoor kitchens, fire features, planting, and more.
The lot, which is located within close access to routes 80, 17 and 46, is zoned for a range of uses, NAI Hanson said, including office, residential and retail. The buyer intends to use the property as a landscape contractors’ yard that will feature retail hardscapes. With the purchase, Bergen Landscaping’s footprint in Rochelle Park is now at 2 acres.
“It’s not every day that a business is presented with an opportunity for expansion without having to relocate their operations, especially in Bergen County,” Fittizzi said. “We were pleased to leverage our expertise to identify this tremendous opportunity right next door to our client and help support the ongoing growth of a local small business.
