Unity Bank donates $28K+ to food pantries in N.J., Lehigh Valley

Unity Bank announced Wednesday it has donated $28,500 to 19 food pantries throughout New Jersey and Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.

The funds were contributed by Unity Bank employees and matched by the bank as part of its annual holiday community service project.

“I am extremely proud of the generosity our employees continue to show in this important community service project, which seems to break donation records every year,” Unity Bank CEO and President James A. Hughes said. “All of these organizations provide vital services to those in need throughout New Jersey and the Lehigh Valley. As a community bank, it is a privilege to be able to support the important work of these organizations.”
