Scarinci Hollenbeck, a Lyndhurst-based law firm, has named a new hiring partner to take the lead in bringing new attorneys on board.
Laura M. Miller, a counsel in the firm’s Corporate Transactions & Business Law group, starts in the role Jan. 1, according to a news release.
“I am incredibly honored to have been named hiring partner,” Miller said in a prepared statement. “It has been nothing short of amazing to grow with the firm over the years, and I am thrilled to take on this role.”
Miller joined the firm as a law clerk in 2004, then earning a job as an associate in the Litigation practice group. She eventually moved to the Corporate Transactions & Business Law group, where she still practices in areas focused on representing cable television, telephone and cellular providers.
She supervised the summer law clerk program for many years, which in 2016 was formalized as the Summer Associate program, in which four law students each year spend time with Scarinci Hollenbeck supporting a variety of areas and gaining hands-on experience.
Now, she will manage and oversee all attorney hires at the entire firm.
“I remember Laura when she started as a law clerk at Scarinci Hollenbeck,” Donald Scarinci, the firm’s managing partner, said in a statement. “I knew then that someday she would be my partner, and I am very pleased that her day has come.”
Scarinci Hollenbeck is a regional firm with more than 70 attorneys.
