Glebar Company, a Ramsey-based precision grinding solutions organization, announced Friday it has acquired Tridex Technology Ltd.

Tridex is a provider of Electrochemical Grinding or ECG technology, providing turnkey solutions and services tailored to the medical and aerospace industries.

“We are humbled by this transformational opportunity and are excited to welcome the Tridex team to Glebar.  Both companies’ respective customers will benefit from the synergy we create together,” Robert Baker, CEO of Glebar Company, said.

According to Adam Cook, chairman of Gelbar Company, the acquisition of Tridex will further bolster Glebar’s core focus within the non-elective medical minimally invasive procedures market and expand its reach in aerospace and other industries.

“The technological advantages of this acquisition are plentiful.  Our offering to our customers takes a big step forward today as we head into the next decade,” John Bannayan, chief technology officer, Glebar Company, said.

“We are excited to be joining the Glebar team. The combined entity will facilitate continued growth to better serve our customers and all stakeholders,” Daniel Stern, CEO and president of Tridex Technology, said.
