Lakeland Bank names director of digital strategy

In a sign of the (cryptocurrency and cybersecurity) times, Lakeland Bank has named a veteran information technology executive as the leader of its digital strategy, it announced Thursday.

Trish Nuccio has been named first senior vice president and director of digital strategy for the Oak Ridge-based bank, CEO and President Thomas J. Shara announced in a news release.

“Trish is a highly talented digital transformation leader,” he said in a prepared statement. “And, we are confident that her extensive experience is exactly what is needed to lead our digital transformation team and support our future growth.”

In her new role, Nuccio will drive the bank’s digital transformation strategies in support of its long-term growth. She will report to Paul Ho-Sing-Loy, executive vice president and chief information officer.

She has more than 28 years of experience in the IT industry, most recently serving as vice president, customer facing, digital product delivery and information technology at Parsippany-based GAF Materials Corp.
