Sapphire Digital has named its interim CEO, Kyle Raffaniello, to the permanent role, it announced this week.
The health care technology company, formerly known as Vitals, named Rafaniello to the interim role in August when Heyward Donigan left the company to become CEO of Rite Aid.
“Sapphire Digital is committed to providing consumers with increased access to cost and quality information to enable better, more informed decisions about their health care,” she said in a prepared statement. “With health care costs looming as a top concern for Americans, consumer shopping is essential to lowering the cost of care in this country. I am honored to be at the helm of a company that is leading the way in health care transparency and continuing to innovate to provide new and enhanced solutions for consumers and the market overall.”
The Lyndhurst company said it had a record year in 2019, finishing with nearly 100 million Americans having access to its transparency tools.
