Sharp Imaging and Information Co. of America, a Montvale-based division of Sharp Electronics Corp., has named a new senior vice president of its direct sales operation, Sharp Business Systems, it announced this week.
In his new role, Joe McCormack will be responsible for all aspects of SIICA’s direct sales business, reporting to SIICA CEO and President Mike Marusic.
“As we move into the next phase of growth for SBS, Joe will bring years of experience in running large sales and service organizations as they transition into new opportunities,” Marusic said in a prepared statement. “A new, objective view of our business will bring an additional level of clarity to our growth path.”
Before joining Sharp on Dec. 30, McCormack was global chief transformation officer at Stanley Black & Decker Corp., capping a long career with Black & Decker.
