World Insurance Associates LLC, a Tinton Falls-based insurance brokerage, has acquired a Haddonfield-based agency, it announced recently.
Financial terms of the deal for Dunhour Agency Inc. were not disclosed. The Dunhour Agency serves the Delaware Valley region as a full-service, independent agency, WIA — a full-service brokerage — said in a news release.
“We are eager to welcome the Dunhour Agency to our growing World Insurance team,” Rich Eknoian, co-founder and CEO, said in a prepared statement. “Incorporating the Dunhour Agency expands WIA’s expertise and services to the Delaware Valley region.”
Frederick W. Dunhour III and his associates will continue to operate from the current location, WIA said.
“Being a part of World Insurance Associates gives us access to a variety of niche markets and programs, so we can provide more options to our clients,” Dunhour said in a statement. “We’re excited to be part of this dynamic team.”
The transaction closed in December.
