New Jersey American Water has announced its latest infrastructure project, water main replacement work in Runnemede.
The project will see the Camden-based utility invest $725,000 to replace about 4,800 feet of 6-, 8- and 12-inch water main, as well as hydrants and service lines.
The local, qualified contractor on the project is Pioneer Pipe Contractors Inc., and work is expected to start this week and run through summer’s final street restorations.
