A Slice of Brooklyn, a contemporary Italian food and wood-fired pizza restaurant, will open at the Hamilton Plaza in Hamilton Township, according to Levin Management Corp., the leasing and managing agent of the center.
The restaurant will take up 2,400 square feet at the 175,000-square-foot retail property, the North Plainfield-based commercial real estate firm said.
The operator of A Slice of Brooklyn is a restaurateur who owns Marcello’s, another Italian eatery in Bordentown.
“This ownership has experienced tremendous success at Marcello’s and will bring that same standard of authentic Italian food and specialty pizza to A Slice of Brooklyn at Hamilton Plaza,” Sidney Singer, leasing representative, LCM, who arranged the lease, said. “It will be a great new addition at a time when good things are happening at this community shopping and dining destination.”
Anchored by an 81,000-square-foot ShopRite, the Hamilton Plaza is situated at the intersection of Route 33 and Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Road, and includes tenants such as A.C. Moore, Petco, Dollar Tree, T-Mobile, Mattress Firm, Texas Roadhouse, Moe’s Southwest Grill, America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses, Hair Cuttery, and Queen Bee Nail Salon.
