Maple Shade IT firm expands through acquisition of Red Bank business

Beringer Technology Group, a Maple Shade-based managed information technology firm, has acquired DeckerWright Corp., a Red Bank-based IT solutions business, it announced Tuesday.

The merged company will have more than 35 employees in four states, as the DeckerWright staff joins Beringer’s team, it said in a news release.

“The acquisition of DeckerWright Corp. fits in with Beringer’s strategic growth plan,” CEO and President Craig Beringer said in a prepared statement. “They are in a great location with blue-ribbon clients and an experienced team that can immediately contribute to our continued success.”

The DeckerWright team, including President Marshall Wright and co-owner Sally Wright, will remain in the Red Bank office, expanding Beringer’s business into central and northern New Jersey.

“We looked at about a dozen proposals from other companies, including private equity-backed buyers,” Marshall Wright said in a statement. “None of the buyers we assessed aligned better with our staff, clients and values than Beringer Technology Group. We are excited to be a part of Beringer Technology Group’s future.”
