NAI Hanson negotiates sale of 81 acres in Port Murray

NAI James E. Hanson, a Teterboro-based commercial real estate firm, announced on Tuesday it has negotiated the sale of an 81.6-acre parcel of land in Port Murray.

NAI Hanson’s Sig Schorr represented the seller of 985 Route 57, Auto & Truck Wreckers Inc., and the buyer, Irish Meadows LLC, in the deal.

The parcel of land was formerly the home of an automotive and truck parts recycling facility for over 40 years. The buyer plans to lease the space on a per-acre basis for companies that require storage for heavy and light equipment.  It is within close access to routes 57, 80 and 206.

“A creative and targeted marketing strategy backed by decades of experience goes a long way in representing the seller of a unique property like this,” Schorr said.  “For our buyer, understanding their needs in the context of the broader market is crucial to finding them the right property at the right price. Fortunately, we take great pride in our ability to represent both the buyer and seller in transactions just like this and to negotiate fair deals that meet both parties’ business goals.”
