Arctic Glacier LLC, a Montclair-based producer and distributor of packaged ice products, announced on Friday it has acquired Linton, Indiana-based Superior Ice Co. Inc.
“With Arctic Glacier’s recent acquisition of Cosner Ice in Indiana, the merging of the two businesses made perfect sense. The timing of this deal worked out well for myself and my partners, and we are happy to be transitioning our business to a first-class organization, Blaine Lannan, president of Superior Ice, said.
The acquisition will help strengthen Arctic’s expanding presence in the Midwest, it said. This is the company’s eighth acquisition in the last year.

This transaction greatly increases our service capacity in Indiana and expands our delivery footprint allowing us to reach even more customers.
