Sanzari negotiates lease renewal with specialty lab in Elmwood Park

Alfred Sanzari Enterprises announced on Tuesday it has signed a 50,429-square-foot lease renewal with BioReference Laboratories in Elmwood Park at 491 Edward H. Ross Drive.

BioReference, the Hackensack-based commercial and residential real estate firm said, is Sanzari’s largest tenant, taking up more than 227,000 square feet in Elmwood Park spread across four buildings in its portfolio.

Founded in 1981, BioReference has been a Sanzari tenant since signing its first lease to relocate its headquarters to Elmwood Park in 1988. Since then, it has grown to a full-service specialty laboratory serving approximately 11 million patients annually.
