Atkins Cos. continues strong acquisition activity with buy in Monroe Township

Atkins Companies, a commercial real estate firm based in West Orange, announced on Tuesday it has acquired the Forsgate Medical Building in Monroe Township.

The 26,808-square-foot building, located at 9 Centre Drive, is a single-story medical office fully occupied by four health care tenants: Princeton Radiology, Princeton Radiation Oncology, Regional Cancer Care Associates and Princeton & Rutgers Neurology.

“With a strategic location in one of the state’s best healthcare markets and an ideal mix of medical tenants deploying the latest specialty technologies in the fight against cancer, Forsgate Medical Building is among the finest medical office properties in central New Jersey,” said Cory Atkins, VP & Director of Acquisitions of Atkins Companies. “Behind our unique, hands-on approach to management and decades of experience with similar properties, we look forward to working closely with the building’s tenants to ensure that this space can continue to meet their evolving needs as they collectively position the facility as one of the area’s premier cancer care centers serving the rapidly growing local population over the coming years.”

Located off Exit 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike, the building is strategically located to facilities housing Penn Medicine Surgery Center, Penn Medicine Rehabilitation Center, RWJBarnabas Health Family Medicine and OBGYN, and Princeton Orthopaedics.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
