Cushman & Wakefield announced on Monday it has been named the exclusive leasing agent for a boutique Class A office property in Morristown.

The property, located at 21 South St., was recently purchased by The Hampshire Cos., which has launched a renovation and two-story addition to increase the building’s size to 70,000 square feet. The property will be reintroduced to the market as the second new office building in Morristown in more than three decades, C&W said.

C&W’s William O’Keefe and Charles Parmelli will head the assignment and market spaces ranging from 6,000 square feet to 30,000-square-foot full floors.

The existing four-story building, which was constructed in the late 1800s, is located steps from the Morristown Green, C&W said. When the renovation is finished, it will have two new floors, a brick exterior, enlarged windows, a completely updated interior, two new elevators, new mechanical systems, a two-story lobby, a large communal conference area, high-end finishes, and more.

“21 South Street will, arguably, represent the finest boutique office availability in Morristown,” O’Keefe said.

21 South Street is currently home to a Wells Fargo branch and is within close access to the Morristown Train Station.

“Morristown truly offers everything today’s employers and their employees want in a walkable transit-served setting rich with dining, shopping and culture. The involvement of The Hampshire Companies — an established, responsive landlord — adds even more appeal” Parmelli said.
