Valley National Bancorp, the holding company for Wayne-based Valley National Bank, announced on Tuesday it has appointed Fabian Rojas to executive vice president, chief information officer.
In this role, he will be responsible for driving customer initiatives and implement company-wide technology solutions.
Rojas, who’s been with Valley since 2017, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and life science industries, with a strong focus on revenue growth, acquisitions, mergers, consolidations and integrations.
“Over the past two years, Fabian’s focus and experience has driven him to go above and beyond in delivering value for Valley,” Bob Bardusch, senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, said. “His passion in transforming technology into a business-led, technology enabled capability is clear in his thoughtful approach to growing the people, processes and technology that will propel Valley into the future.”
Prior to Valley, Rojas was the global chief technology officer at Sanofi and the managing director of infrastructure services at TD Ameritrade.
