Cross River named ‘Best Place to Work in FinTech’ by Arizent

Forty-nine companies were named the 2020 Best Places to Work in Financial Technology by Arizent, and one from New Jersey ranked among the best.

Arizent partnered with independent research firm Best Companies Group to create the list. The companies, which were selected out of hundreds nationwide, include a wide variety of employers, such as small business lenders, wealth management software developers, direct mortgage lenders, digital banks and payment platforms. Each company on the list scored high on a survey in workplace policies and practices, philosophy, systems, demographics, and overall employee experience.

Cross River Bank, based in Fort Lee, came in at No. 33 on the annual list. It is a provider of banking services for technology companies and has approximately 250 U.S.-based employees.

“Our employees are the lifeblood of Cross River, and the reason we are able to provide breakthrough innovations and leading financial services solutions,” Phil Goldfeder, senior vice president, public affairs, at Cross River, said. “We foster an environment and culture that focuses on teamwork, humility and the growth of every employee. We are grateful to Arizent and Best Companies Group for once again recognizing Cross River as one of the Best Places to Work.”

“The competition for talent in technology is intense and companies named to Arizent’s Best Places to Work in Financial Technology are setting the standard in terms of cultures that help people thrive,” Richard Melville, group editorial director at Arizent, said.

To be included in the rankings, companies must of had technology products and solutions that allow for the delivery of financial services. They needed to also be in business for at least a year and employ at least 15 people in the U.S.
