Spirit Airlines recently announced it has increased the number of flights from Atlantic City to Central and South Florida.
The expanded options include:
Service to and from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) will increase to three times a day starting on July 9, up from two.
Flights to and from Orlando (MCO) will go to 19 flights per week, or up to three daily, on July 9, up from 14 a week.
“Florida is very important to Spirit Airlines, and we are going to keep growing in the state we call home,” John Kirby, vice president of network planning for Spirit, said. “As the only major airline headquartered in the Sunshine State, Spirit Airlines continues to add new destinations and more non-stop service to meet the needs of Florida’s growing economy.”
In all, Spirit inaugurated or upgraded the frequency of flights on 16 routes from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, including new daily service to Oakland (OAK) and two more daily flights to Myrtle Beach (MYR).
