Bioclinica, a clinical science and technology services company serving the life sciences industry, has named a new chief operating and financial officer.
The Princeton-based company said Tuesday that Charles “Chuck” Bodner will serve in the two roles, and as executive vice president. In his new post, he will be responsible for business operations, including finance, legal, information technology, human resources and corporate development, as well as strategic oversight of the Drug Safety Solutions business unit.
“I am delighted to join the Bioclinica team, and share in their enthusiasm to help bring safe and effective new pharmaceutical products to the marketplace,” he said in a prepared statement. “It’s an exciting time to join the organization, and I look forward to the opportunity to help the company continue to grow, while creating sustainable long-term value.”
Bodner most recently was with BD, serving as senior vice president, chief accounting officer and CFO of international.
In addition, Maureen Marchek has been promoted to senior vice president, finance, with responsibility for controller, financial planning and procurement functions. Marchek has been with the company since 2014, most recently as corporate controller.
