The developer Walters announced it has opened three of the five planned buildings at a Stafford Township income-restricted community.

The other two apartment buildings at Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow are expected to be completed by spring.

The property at 200 Back Road in the township’s Manahawkin section welcomed its first residents in December, and will eventually include a total of 60 apartments, in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts.

“Walters is committed to creating high-quality housing options which enhance the area while helping to meet the demand for more affordable homes,” Walters partner and Director of Affordable Housing Joe DelDuca said in a prepared statement.

The property features green buildings, as well as amenities including a clubhouse, fitness center and more. Residency is limited to individuals and families who make less than 60% of the county’s median income.
