Jersey City communications company buys cruise solutions firm

Diversified Global Graphics Group, a Jersey City-based provider of communications services, has acquired Ryan Edwards Communications Inc., it announced recently.

Baltimore-based REC, a supplier of outsourced communications solutions to the cruise industry, was founded by Megan Wahler in 2013 and is led by Ken Wahler.

“We are pleased to welcome the Ryan Edwards team into the DG3 family,” CEO and President Steven Babat said in a prepared statement. “Ken and his team have built an entrepreneurially minded growth company and strong brand over the last eight years. The REC solutions to the cruise industry will be a great addition to DG3’s portfolio of managed services offerings.”

Ken Wahler will lead cruise line managed services for DG3 after the acquisition.

DG3 is a Resilience Capital Partners portfolio company.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
