Wiley expands career center services with acquisition of Madgex

John Wiley and Sons Inc., a Hoboken-based research and education company, announced on Thursday it has acquired Madgex, a provider of job board software and career center services.

“Helping researchers and professionals thrive in their careers is at the heart of everything we do, and our acquisition of Madgex reinforces that commitment,” Judy Verses, executive vice president of research for Wiley, said. “As we expand our product and service offerings with Madgex, we will undoubtedly strengthen our value proposition for societies and, in turn, their members through peer networking, knowledge sharing and professional development.”

Madgex has been a partner to Wiley since 2011. Since then, Madgex has helped drive Wiley’s recruitment services.

“Madgex is committed to supporting the recruitment industry through our market-leading job board technology and career center solutions. We’re excited to now officially combine Madgex’s job board expertise with Wiley’s publishing experience and shared commitment to the recruitment industry,” Madgex CEO Dan Meadows said. “With Wiley, we’ll continue to partner with the world’s most prestigious organizations across publishing, journalism, associations and recruitment, providing the cutting-edge job board technology, continuous innovation and expert support we are known for.”
