Provident Bank announced on Thursday it has named Carolyn Powell to executive vice president, chief human resources officer.
Powell will be based at the financial institution’s Iselin headquarters.
In this new role, Powell will be tasked with the organization’s overall HR strategy, including talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and HR technology. She will also focus on the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy as a member of the executive management team.

Powell has more than 25 years of experience in HR and organizational strategy. Most recently, she was vice president, human resources at Conduent and has held senior roles with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Dun & Bradstreet and ADP.
