Cambrex appoints Player to president, early stage development and testing

Cambrex, an East Rutherford-based small molecule company, announced on Tuesday it has appointed Troy Player to president, early stage development and testing.

Player, who has 25 years of experience in senior strategic and operational executive roles, will be responsible for operations at the company’s Agawam, Massachusetts; Durham, North Carolina; Edinburgh, U.K., High Point, North Carolina; and Longmont, Colorado facilities. He joins Cambrex from West PHarmaceuticals, most recently serving as vice president and general manager of the contract manufacturing business unit.
