NAI James E. Hanson, a commercial real estate firm based in Teterboro, announced on Tuesday it has negotiated a lease with MetroMultimedia, a live event production company, for 18,000 square feet in Hackensack.

NAI Hanson’s Andrew Somple, Scott K. Perkins and Justin Allessio represented the landlord of the industrial building at 211 South Newman St., The Stro Companies, in the deal. Stro has recently updated the property, including the roof, parking, truck court, windows and facade along with increasing the building’s loading capacity.

“In a market as crowded and competitive as northern New Jersey, highly experienced brokerage teams can make all the difference for landlords hoping to find quality tenants at fair market value,” Somple said. “Through our deep understanding of the market, our team has built strong relationships with many of the area’s most successful developers like The Stro Companies to help them navigate all facets of increasingly complex commercial real estate transactions.”

The building is within close access to Interstate 80, the George Washington Bridge, the Lincoln Tunnel and Newark Airport.
