Tinton Falls-based insurance agency World Insurance Associates LLC announced Thursday that it acquired a Connecticut agency earlier this month.
Financial terms of the deal for Martin & Rowland Insurance Inc., based in Prospect, were not disclosed. The acquisition took place April 1.
“We are thrilled to welcome such a reputable, well-established company to our team,” World Insurance Associates co-founder and CEO Rich Eknoian said in a prepared statement. “Martin & Rowland’s extensive experience and expertise in the insurance industry is a great opportunity for us to expand our capabilities in the state of Connecticut.”
Martin & Rowland, a full-service, independent agency, dates to 1845.
