Rose CRE represents sale of ‘pink’ retail landmark in Marlton

Marlton-based Rose Commercial Real Estate announced on Monday it has represented the $312,500 sale of a brightly-colored building in Marlton.

The 3,662-square-foot “pink” storefront located at 11 East Main St. was the home to Fashions by Penina, an upscale formal women’s dress store, for more than 25 years, Rose CRE said. It was sold to Philadelphia-based Misha of Siberia Furs.

Siberia Furs, which was looking to cross the river and move to South Jersey, selected the site due to its large first floor showroom and second floor office and storage space.

It is within close access to routes 70 and 73 as well as interstate 295 and area bridges.

“All deals are memorable but this one was filled with such history. Two women business owners who have and continue to make a difference in our region. The building may be remembered for its ‘pink’ facade, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help (the owners of Fashions by Penina) as they move on to their next endeavor,” Adam Rose, president of Rose CRE who represented both parties in the deal, said.
