Billtrust, the Lawrenceville-based business-to-business software company, has named a new senior vice president of sales, it announced Tuesday.
In his new role, Johnson will oversee sales operations and new business development in its digital order-to-cash process.
“Jay has been successful in several roles within diverse enterprise software companies, and his go-to-market expertise and demonstrated success scaling sales organizations will be a great addition to our strong team,” founder and CEO Flint Lane said in a prepared statement.
Johnson, a 29-year corporate veteran, most recently was SVP of sales, Americas, for data management software company Syncort.
“There is no better company than Billtrust to help customers to realize the strong ROI of order-to-cash automation,” he said in a statement. “I look forward to working with the Billtrust customer community to ensure we’re developing world-class customer experiences to achieve revenue growth and continued market leadership.”
Johnson represents Billtrust’s third management hire in recent months, following Chief Financial Officer Mark Shifke and Chief Information Officer Joe Eng.
