NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co., a commercial real estate brokerage, announced on Friday it has closed the sale of the Blackthorn Inn Irish Pub & Restaurant in Kenilworth.
NAI DiLeo-Bram’s Rich Goski and Catherine Goski represented the buyer of 651 North Michigan Ave., a telehandler distributor based in Italy. The seller was represented by Jeffery Realty’s Steve Batista.
“We are pleased to have represented our client, in this transaction,” Rich Goski said. “There was a great amount of interest in this ‘bank owned’ property from several buyers due to its location on a two-acre parcel of land, which is difficult to find in this area, along with its immediate access to major highways,” he added.
Properties of this size and within proximity to Newark and Elizabeth typically sell quickly, Catherine Goski said.
“This property was a perfect fit for this client, and we were fortunate to help them secure this site. Focusing a significant amount of our time in Union and Essex counties, enabled us to immediately identify and introduce this property to this client and provide them with the necessary information to be able to react promptly in this competitive situation,” she said.
