Luxury apartment community begins leasing in Jersey City

Leasing has officially been underway at BELA, a newly-developed apartment community located within Jersey City’s Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood.

To ensure social distancing while browsing the spaces, the building is offering 3D walkthroughs and virtual tours to prospective tenants.

Golden Glades Capital Management LLC, the building’s owner, tapped Halstead Property NJ Development Marking LLC to serve as BELA’s exclusive marketing and leasing agent.

Halstead is currently offering a launch promotion of up to three free months rent for tenants who sign leases in May. Homes start at $1,996 for a one bedroom and $2,560 for a two bedroom. Occupancy is slated for June.

Located at 74 Maple St. near Liberty State Park, public transportation, restaurants, shops and nightlife, the eight-story, 99-unit BELA is one of the latest testaments to the areas desirability as a place to live.

“This neighborhood has so much urban character while also offering a greener side of Jersey City,” Carole Bloom, executive vice president of leasing for Halstead Development Marketing, said.  “Liberty State Park is virtually BeLa’s backyard, offering more than 1,200 acres of public open space and a waterfront walkway, while Berry Lane Park provides an additional 17 acres of active and passive recreational space.  We’re excited to now introduce BeLa to its residential offering, which perfectly blends modern and stylish living spaces with the charm, convenience and commuter connectivity the neighborhood is known for.”

BELA residents will enjoy keyless entry systems, washer and dryer in unit, an attended lobby, resident lounge, clubroom, fitness center, yoga studio, a rooftop terrace with a lounge, BBQ grilling stations, and more. The building also has a fully furnished guest suite, bike storage, package concierge, onsite indoor parking and a street level cafe.
