Private equity firm invests in IoT surveillance company

Teaneck-based private equity firm DFW Capital Partners has completed its investment in a California-based Internet of Things company, it announced Tuesday.

As part of the investment in IntelliSite Corp., which provides advanced surveillance and monitoring solutions for customers, former Dell executive Ken Mills has been named the company’s CEO, according to a news release.

Mills will work with IntelliSite founders Mario and Jorge Campos, who will remain with the company.

“IntelliSite’s own proprietary technology, combined with its field-level expertise and ability to leverage various best-in-class third-party solutions, have led to hundreds of successful implementations and loyal customers,” DFW Managing Partner Keith Pennell said in a prepared statement. “We are impressed by what Mario and Jorge have built to date, and look forward to working with Mario, Jorge and Ken to accelerate the company’s growth — both organically and via select acquisitions.”

Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
