R&J renews lease, renovates space in Bridgewater

A Bridgewater-based communications firm has renewed its office lease, according to real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson.

The renewal with R&J Strategic Communications, which works with national and regional businesses in sectors from health care to real estate and beyond, includes extensive renovations to the firm’s office space at CenterPointe IV, 1140 Rt. 22 E., NAI Hanson noted. R&J has been located at CenterPointe IV since 2005.

NAI Hanson’s Joshua Levering and Nick DePaolera represented R&J in the transaction with owner Signature Acquisitions, based in Cranford.

“Although office renovations are often something to be excited about, the transitionary period from old to new can cause considerable disruption if not handled correctly,” Levering said in a prepared statement. “Fortunately, we were able to leverage our expertise in similar transactions to work closely with both R&J Strategic Communications’ senior leadership team and CenterPointe’s ownership to find a solution that allowed R&J to embark on this renovation and establish a long-term home for their growing business at the complex.”

CenterPointe IV is a three-story, 95,653-square-foot property that is part of the four-building Class A CenterPointe at Bridgewater office park.
