Saint Peter’s University announced on Tuesday that its Frank J. Guarini School of Business has launched an MBA program entirely online.
The Jersey City-based institution said the 36-credit, 18-month program was designed to meet the needs of today’s workers and further incorporate the most in-demand market skills. Added benefits to the program include IBM certifications, a focus on data and analytical tools, more coursework and the flexible delivery of courses. It will also be made available in an in-person format.
“When we announced the Frank J. Guarini School of Business this past fall, we committed to the mission of ensuring graduates would be prepared with the knowledge and skill sets for prominent careers in a variety of industries,” Mary Kate Naatus, KPMG dean of the Frank J. Guarini School of Business, said. “These new advancements help us to further that mission and the new online format option will make a Saint Peter’s graduate education even more accessible.”
The changes were made in response to an analysis of Indeed and LinkedIn job posts and keywords as well as a input survey from current and prospective students, and alumni.
“Through this research we are now confident to say that Saint Peter’s students are graduating from our MBA program with the most desired industry skills in the Northeast,” Joseph Gilkey, associate professor and chair of the business administration department and director of the MBA program, said.
